If it isn't too expensive consider it a fee for parking. It certainly would be worth it to hang out on this special little beach! Just curious..how much is the parking ticket? We were on our way back from Coral Bay and we were coming back on the Northshore rd. when we came up such a beautiful beach we HAD to stop. And stop we did when we backed in to our spot and a tree hit us in our rear bumper! Funny thing happened when we went to Maho for the first time. Don't make them put up more signs. It’s part of the character and fun of St. John. Don’t make them put up more signs.

Don't you basically go down the road a little bit from the picture and drive into a tree on the side of the road? When the tree stops you, you're parked. At least that's what we did. Then, you run like hell to get away from the absolutely evil bugs. Saw a flock(?) of squids when snorkeling there. Not very colorful, but cool in its own way Where are the legal spots? The "regular" order of things just doesn't exist in any way that's familiar to folks like me from the U.S. While I sympathize with the frustration of getting a ticket at Maho, does anyone really believe that there is the slightest chance of the Rangers ever being organized enough to actually execute a sustained enforcement campaign?
