Establishment of the Park DVD

You need to buy this DVD. It’s a new, 30 minute documentary produced for the National Park’s 50^th anniversary that recounts the history of the formation of the Park. It is nicely edited and beautifully told and includes great, old photos and film, and some fun interviews with folks who were there a half century ago. (We’d love to see a second DVD full of more of these interviews!) You can order the DVD directly from the Friends of the Virgin Islands National Park here.

   I ordered mine!! Thanks to on-stjohn.com this is likely to be the biggest thing since “Pirates of the Caribbean 2″!

   Wow…I love stuff like t hat and always wanted to know more about STJ. I ordered 2, one to send up to our pals in NJ and one for us. Looks like fun!

Vistors and residents MUST watch this amazing DVD, it is very educational and you will come away with a deeper appreciation of St. John. I am proud to call St. John my home for the past 25+ years – the National Park is the saving grace of this special island. There’s no place like St. John …

   Nice job. Been a “friend” for a couple years now and will definately get the video.I took a seminar with Steve a couple of years age through FOVINP and learned a lot about taking pictures in STJ.

   You voice sounds like the guy who talks on safty videos I see at work.
