New feature: Our Favorite Bartenders

Introducing a new, occasional On-StJohn feature: Our Favorite Bartenders. We start with OUR favorite bartender. Everybody else is a distant second to Michelle at the Beach Bar. Michelle came to St. John a few years ago by way of Boston. She is funny, sarcastic and very good at what she does. She’s also tough. She can chase Crazies out of the bar like a 300 pound bouncer. Believe me, we’ve seen it! Oh, and she’s also pretty hot.

In today’s premier edition of Our Favorite Bartenders, Michelle makes the classic Painkiller. (And in the next episode, Michelle will make us a Bushwacker!) Be sure to tell Michelle you saw her on On-StJohn.com. Cheers. Painkiller here!

(Note to Travel Channel folks: We didn’t promise high production values on On-StJohn TV every time. It was shot in a bar after all!)

I agree, Michelle is my favorite bartender too. She has been at the beach bar every time we have been there.
Loved the intro music to this segment. It’s going to give me a little bounce in my step this am.

Here’s another vote for Michelle. But to be honest, I think all the bartenders at the Beach Bar are great. Very friendly & efficient!

There is no finer woman than one that can work a blender like Michelle can!

I can’t wait to see her bushwacker

    Loved it!

For a future piece, I put in a request for Mango Tango at Morgan’s.

I totally agree! We were one STJ in January and she is by far the best and hardest working bartender we came across! Way to go Michelle!

I second Tyler…..once you get him going, he is a riot! His turtle Cleetus and his adventure, where he “took one for his country” is a classic….Where’s Tyler today?

Michelle is great, we’ve spent many afternoons with her. Nice heavy pours on the top shelf rum!

    Cheers, Rick

We were there again last week and Michelle is fantastic.

Michelle, just to let you know, it is “wicked” cold he-ah in Boston. I can’t wait to be back on STJ.
