A concierge for the common guy
There’s this booth by the ferry dock called Visitor’s Connection, and its big purpose is to drive traffic to the Westin for timeshare tours. We watched this booth on and off for a couple of days recently, and discovered that it also serves as a sort of free concierge service. You don’t have to sign up for the Westin tours at all, even though the Westin pays for the booth and for Christina, who is generally manning (womaning?) the booth. Got questions? Get answers. Need reservations? They’ll do it for you. Looking for something to do? They’re full of suggestions. We really think it is kind of an under-utilized free service. Of course, the Westin would love to have you stop by for a timeshare pitch, but while we lurked and watched before deciding to do this story, we didn’t see any strong-arming at all. Good place to just pick up a map or some brochures too. Meet the very friendly and awfully cute Christina here!

Certainly glad she didn’t spit on you guys! That trend need not continue!
My question for Christina would be, can you book us for two seats at the next Villa Vittles tasting? I hear that’s the hottest seat in town! If we get Invited I’ll dress up and wear my new on-stjohn.com t-shirt I bought off Amazon today

A no pressure, helpful timeshare booth seems too much of an oxymoron to be true.
I’m with Rob, where can you get those tickets?
(HINT: Have a tasting in late May and invite strangers that comment on your site.)

Christina’s a sweet gal. She helped me out in November. She never even brought up the timeshare issue. That’s definitely a FIRST for me.

Both Christina and Shellie were great the day that I needed to get information about where to dine and what beaches to go to. Always a smile and very informative. I want a dog like Christina has a picture of.

Hi, We stopped by the booth on our first day, we wanted to go to Baths. She hooked us up with Cruz Bay Watersports and had a great day, also she discounted it by $100.00 if we wanted to take the tour. Well, we thought this was a great discount but it cost us $50,000.00 since we took the tour. Ended up buying a 3 bedroom pool Vila timeshare. If we had not stopped by to talk to her, I would be spending the year reseaching Vilas. We enjoyed the tour, was not high preasure. My fiance rushed them in the buying process. Didn’t want to lose the week we wanted. Someone else was wanted it the same time we did. We won!

I just wanted to extend a belated “thank you” to Christina for her help this past July. We were had arrived on St. John the day before, unfortunately without our luggage. My cell phone battery was on fumes (charger in my lost suitcase) and I was having no luck getting any information on the status of our luggage. Christina offered me the use of the booth’s phone to call the airline to (hopefully) track down our bags. Thank you SO much for helping us out that day, Christina!
