Holy Cow! Auction tops $155K
There was some serious money at that Pine Peace Auction over the weekend. First estimates say the event raised between $155,000 and $160,000. That’s alotta loot for a little island. The biggest single winning bid went for a three night stay in a 7,000 square foot, 4 bedroom villa at the St. Regis Temenos Villas in Anguilla (pictured.) It went for $21,000. Congratulations to auction co-chairs Lori Barlas and Beth Jones. If you want to see what the winning bids were for all auction items in all categories, they’ve got them posted here.

I am very happy for the money raised for the private Pine Peace/Gift Hill school. Now,if only an auction for the public school children who REALLY need it could happen–that would be something special!
