It’s cocktail hour somewhere

If you live on the east coast, good news. Your cocktail hour is now in-sync with cocktail hour on St. John. Daylight Saving Time moves you ahead to Atlantic Standard Time. This is good news if you’re traveling soon too. No fussing with your watch. No confusion over flight times and arrivals. The change is three weeks early this year too. (Daylight Saving Time has the most curious, long and winding history.) If you’re stuck at home, we suggest you celebrate this event by getting out the rum and Coco Lopez and making yourself a 6 p.m. Painkiller. At last, it’s not too early to start.

Not painkillers, but ribs and margaritas were on the menu last night. Tonight who knows. But one thing for sure you’ve got to love the mid 80’s yesterday and the low 90’s today. Ah, one of the pleasures of living in the Los Angeles area.

Mid-forties here in Wisconsin…we’re rockin’ the farenheits today. Seriously, people are breakin’ out the shorts.

What is your recipe for painkillers? I am addicted to the on-st.john. I may just get addicted to painkillers as well.
