I wholeheartedly agree. I also miss the old Dockside Pub - I think that new building is a total eyesore. (Sorry, Ruth) But now that Grande Bay is opening, a new eyesore has emerged.

"if anything ever happens to this area, Nature’s Nook better get to stay. It’s kinda shabby and rough and it just looks like it belongs right where it is."

I agree Absolutely! I like to see the shabby and rough looks of Nature's Nook, Patrick's West Indian Delight and Sheila's Pot and etc. That is the heart and soul of St. John! You take these local, colorful establishments away and you are slowly killing a little more of St. John. Yes, ya gotta love the place IF you love St. John.

I would hate to see it go also. Don't forget to buy your Power Ball ticket there too! Nature's Nook, Patrick's West Indians Delights and Shela's Pot are just a few visible signs of the old days. Lets support them.

I hope they don't lose their place in the sun. It has such character and offers a certain Island charm to the area. If they commercialize too much of the Cruz Bay waterfront they will be taking away all signs of what the real St.John was, small stands that the locals built and made their living at. I was amazed the last time we drove through Charlotte Amalie to see how built up it has become. Now it is way to crowded to be an Island Paradise. Just my 2 cents
