I notice if I used Santa Margarita Pinot Grigio adn I cut up peaches and let them soak in the mixture and use Absolut Mandarin that it adds a kick to the Sangria…..

Here’s what we made:
1 1/2 cups of rum (I did it half Black Seal and half Tortuga Gold (we’re raging rummies))
1/2 cup sugar
1 shot of lime juice
1 shot lemon juice
(those 2 mimic the juice content of a whole lime and a whole lemon…I needed to drink; not squeeze fruit)
1 cup orange juice
750ml red wine

Chill, drink, fall down a lot

White Sangria:
1/4 cup vodka
1/4 cup peach schnapps
1/4 cup peach grape juice (thanks to our 5 year old daughter, we have this in the house)
2 oz lemon juice
750ml of cheap pinot grigio

This one needs tinkering. Likely way more vodka

anyone actually coughing up a sangria recipe? I’m having 16 here on Saturday and a big punch bowl or two of Sangria seems like a good idea!

Or, it could mean that they put up the plywood and will paint “soon come” on the outside and it will sit like that for six months… or maybe until June 2008 – you didn’t specify which June.

In addition to brandy or triple sec, I’ve used Cruzan citrus flavored rum to kick my Sangria up a notch.

Funny you should mention Yellow Tail. That’s what we bought last time we were there.

I should post a sangria recipe I have for kicking a big bottle of so-so wine.
