This is a BIG house and it’s on the South Shore. In fact, it is literally ON the South Shore. The new owners have done some extensive renovation and it looks great. There are only a handful of houses here, and this one is right on the water. We’ve stayed in this area a couple of times. The surf is just big enough to be mesmerizing, especially at night. It is very quite here. Chocolate Hole East road gets you to Dever’s Bay. Check out Vida de Mar

I used to clean Vida years ago and it is one of the best places to stay on St. John. Each bedroom is so private and it has that wonderful “Old St. John” feel to it that you just don’t get in the new houses. Of course I must add that I haven’t actually SEEN Bongo Bongo yet!
