Reef Madness rises

Here’s a little surprise for Randy and Marcia, the guys from Annapolis who’ve been building Reef Madness Villa in Coral Bay. We snuck up there a few days ago to see how things were going, and got out a camera while we were there. We should all be cheering for these guys. This is going to be a WAY COOL two bedroom house with a sweet, cliff-hanging pool, and they have dumped their souls (and savings accounts) into it. It’s in Seagrape Hill, which, by Coral Bay standards, is just about as convenient as you can get. The paved road up the hill is directly across from Skinny Legs. What awesome views. Coral Bay and empty, green hillsides. Nice stonework too (which ain’t cheap.) Sneak into Reef Madness for a minute or so, below!

It is so beautiful to just look out at all that open space……….Coral Bay is so uncongested unlike Cruz Bay……..I hope it can stay like that………..
    Thanks guys………..

Rosie, I agree…and hate to be a “downer” on this subject, but look at what has happened over the past 20 years. I guess my point is to enjoy the island now….in another 20 years you may not want to be on STJ. Just imagine all those traffic jams and moving people around the island in bumper to bumper traffic with the road system…and all the new businesses needed to support those increases. The government is doing nothing to have controlled development. It sure scares me.

I really do believe Gov DeJongh will get a planner for STJ………..No, STJ will not be like it was 20 years ago, but I do believe it will always have that quiet pace and will have the beauty that makes it the special virgin……..
