On-StJohn Road Trip: Donkey Diner
The three signs on the road in front of Donkey Diner in Coral Bay sum it up: Breakfast. Internet. Pizza. And if there were an entry in the Zagat Dining Guide, it would say “Come hungry.” In today’s On-StJohn TV Road Trip interview, meet the owners, British transplant Clare Bole and former Virginia wine salesman Doug Weaver. And find out what “Donkey Balls” are….below!

We’ve spent many many pleasant hours at Donkey Diner. You would be hard pressed to find a more friendly, happy, congenial place. And…the food really is “kick ass”. Thanks for including them in your On-StJohn Road Trip.

Best pizza on-island is served at the Donkey Diner. BYOB and relax at one of the picnic tables in the back. You’ll see old friends and make new ones. BTW – love those views of Coral Bay…

OMG my laptop went on the frtiz today and I haven’t been able to get a STJ fix until after 6pm!!!!! Had to wait for computer support (husband) to bring home an extra laptop and start working on repairs!
I have had a day from HECK and would do anything to be having pizza at the DD now.

Where did Mark and Mark go? They were the owners back in 2003, They were working on getting their Villa built. They had the best Pizza on island, every Friday night Ham & Pineapple, called it in on the way home, picked it up hot. Great Stuff

“Cruz Bay is like the big city” I love it! From someone who grew up in NJ and now lives in what passes for a city, it’s so funny to hear them say that. But, I can see why. I’m still a Cruz Bay devotee though.
I do need to get me some Donkey Diner next time I’m on island.
And…wow…listen to JEff’s voice. So booming.
