Shark soup
The Cruz Bay waters are safe again, and it had nothing to do with Sheriff Brody. Two of the three black tip sharks that have been entertaining some and freaking out others have been plucked from the water in the prime of their adolescence. One by a guy with a fishing pole who reeled it in and took it home for dinner. A second grabbed from the water by another fisherman who preferred the more straight-forward approach of a gaff hook.
Shark number three has apparently high-tailed it out of Cruz Bay. Kind of sad, isn’t it?

No chance then I can dress up like a girl from the 70′s next time I’m there and yell “A Shark! Shark! A Shark!” in the hopes that Chief Brody would come save me, right?

I think in this case it would be Chief Darren Foy who would come to the rescue. (I’m not sure about the “dress up like a girl part)
Thank goodness Wade’s ankles are safe once again. We can all rest easier now… Especially you Lynn(Wade’s Mom)

So does this mean they have gone from Bongo Bongo, too?

Darn, I had hoped to feed them some fry’s from the Beach Bar next month. now I guess Tigger will get to eat them all.

Even though I did worry about Wade’s ankles when he called me yesterday to tell me the latest shark update he was a bit sad and so was I.. It sure has been quite the saga!

UPDATE: Shark number three didn’t “high-tail it out of Cruz Bay”, he simply went looking for reinforcements. Stay tuned…

People can always be relied upon to interfere with Mother Nature. Yet one more example of how we do our best to piss her off.
