All they'd seen to date was the cab ride to Red Hook, the ferry, Duffy's (the StJ one) and our house. I finally dragged them to the jeep and went to Hawksnest. I ushered them to the beach and announced: This is why we came here! They were hooked. August 2004: We’d arrived the day before and our 2 friends were 1st time StJ visitors.
