We just returned from our 20th year of visiting St. John. There is nothing better than sitting back and relaxing on any of the beautiful beaches. Our favorites are Salomon and Honeymoon. Although it is a little hike, and our children are a little older and enjoy the challenge of the hike to and from. It is well worth the effort.

We do have a suggestion for your beach break: Kid friendly beaches and beaches for parents with younger children. We noticed alot of young couples with very young children (under 5) It may be helpful bit of information.

Well, keep up the GREAT work. I read the site before going to bed every night - just to keep in touch with our "second home".

P.S. If you were in town last week, I was walking around town with my "Rather be On St.John t-shirt. I was stopped several time with several comments.

Is that the Peter Bay "Beach Path" sign when it was brand new?

It looks so different now that I couldn't be sure it was the same sign. But the Peter Bay sign has knots under and to the right of the "P" in "Path", just as this one does. So unless it's an amazing coincidence, it is the same sign.

In fact, I think the sign is the same, but it's in a different location now. It just looks TOO different to be the same place.

Like anyone really cares, ha! Sorry. Back on topic, I'm with those who say keep doing St John beaches. The same beach can look so different depending on the time of day, weather, etc., you can never really repeat yourself. (And if you do, who cares? It would still be great!)

Y’know, I’ve been visiting the same north shore beaches five years in a row, soon to be six. And the repeat visits never get old. Neither would repeat beach breaks, whatever the view.

A little St. Thomas/St. Croix wouldn’t hurt either, even though it’s not On St. John.

Since my husband is a runner and frequently chased by island dogs, how about a "Holy Sh@@! I better run faster cam" with it showing those little tetth almost reaching your ankles. It's just an idea.

I like the suggestions previously mentioned, of course. But you know, it's not like a repeat would be the worst thing in the world.

Maybe a different angle... like Boat Cam, but maybe... Palm Cam!? :)

How about dumpster breaks? I like the one at the junction of 104 and Centerline. The one up the hill from the Westin is just okay, if you ask me. But, my all time favorite is the one across the street from the EC gas station...that baby rocks!

No? Okay, well, how about snipets of drives we all like...up Jacob's ladder, the South Shore road above Rendezvous (did I spell that right?) Bay, the switch-backs on the North Shore road just past Cinnamon...you get the idea. And, if you wanted to get really creative, you could put Vaseline on the lens so that we all could relate to the feeling of driving back to the villa after Bushwackers at the Beach Bar. Yup, those are my ideas.

How about beer breaks? It would be nice to see you/someone enjoying a cold one at your favorite St. John watering holes. "Beer Break" has a really nice ring to it.

I really like the beach breaks your doing. I would like to see some like you suggested from some of the nearby BVI's. Maybe some out of the way places. Every taxi drive on St. Thomas can take you to the beaches there. How about something a little different off the beaten path as they would say.

Thanks and keep them coming. Next time on island if you tab runs out we will buy you a drink.

Have you gone to Vie's yet? She wasn't there when we went, so it would be nice to see it up close.
