Beach Break: Another Mystery Beach

Hint one: It’s not on St. John. Hint two: If you’ve been here, you’re a local or you’ve got a great captain. Hint three: It’s American. Hint four: Bill and Hillary probably spent some romantic afternoons gazing out over this little island back in late ‘97. Monica was just about to break. Mystery Beach, below:

I think MB is right….St. Thomas…a private beach at the estate where the Clintons stayed?

Another hint should have been: “Kenny did an album cover shoot here”.

Never mind the last comment (just trying to throw everyone off)…I think that’s the infamous Inner Brass!

I don’t know where it is, but it sure is beautiful.

I remember that the press reported them being on St. Thomas for that vacation.

It is a private beach at Sand Dollar Estate, STT. The island they lovingly gazed upon is Hans Lollick Island….also a beautiful view of Magen’s Bay.

I second the Brass Islands! The Clintons stayed in Megan’s Bay, the Brass Islands lay just a bit to the West.

When we were at Caneel in 2002, on of the employees on the boat pointed out a house that partically sat on the water within the national park and told us the Clintons stayed there is it sort of caused a fuss within the park service. (Don’t know why, that part of the conversation is lost to me due to excitement and rum.)

Bill and (power monger) Hilly stayed on Marthas Vineyard when SHE was President…there were NO jeeps to rent… NO dining out… restaurants were full …..Bill Clinton tees were being sold EVERYWHERE, the WHOLE island was a train wreck… a complete TIZZY…We were there the same week….it was awful and ugly…. there are NO palm trees growing in New England…it is not Marthas Vineyard….

My vote is with Robin, I think she may be on to something … I’m pretty certain Hill & Bill stayed at the Sand Dollar on St. Thomas.

I remember when Al Gore visited & had lunch at the Lime Inn, the secret service were everywhere! It was a little hard not to notice all the clean cut men wearing Ray Ban sunglasses in Cruz Bay.
