Beach Break: Lameshur Bay

Here’s an out-of-the-way beach that’s a lot easier to get to, now that more of the road is paved. There’s good snorkeling, very few people here and there’s a bathroom. A mostly rocky entrance gives way to smooth sand. Directions: Take a right when you get to Coral Bay, keep driving past Shipwreck Landing, past Concordia all the way to the end of the road. You’ll see signs. Check out Lameshur Bay, below…

I’m starting a new “saying” for fans of your site: TGIW (Thank God It’s Wednesday, of course.) I am becoming entirely too dependent on OSJ Beach Breaks. But I’m okay with that.

Another BEAUTIFUL video guys! Lameshur is a great spot to escape and have the entire beach practically to yourself.

I already feel like I don’t have enough time on island next time I’m there. so many places to see. maybe I should do a “no repeat” vacation. not go to any places I visited last time. right - won’t be able to do THAT! need a different game plan!

Mary Beth, of course you can if you choose but why deprive yourself of places like Gibney/Oppenheimer. I’m sure you won’t. Even tho vacation is finite relax and enjoy. If you hit Francis on a Sunday come join our local Sunday Funday at the picnic table.
