I have never had a Chicago Dog, but it has always struck me as fundamentally wrong. It's a NYC thing... We were back in NYC this past May after a 5-year absence. after getting over the shock of seeing my city turned into a tourist destination, it was hot dog time. The Mrs ate them before and after dinner and then again after Midnight...in the pouring rain...in a dress and heels. I used to work near Rutt's and never made it there to have one. A missed opportunity. Wow…I started a hot dog revolution. I have never had a Chicago Dog, but it has always struck me as fundamentally wrong. It’s a NYC thing…
