Assigning blame: The booze

An actual IM conversation between Russ and Jeff shortly after Beach Break editorial error was discovered:

J: Well, I’m pretty humiliated. Check out correction on site.
R: Uh oh. How did you get that wrong?
J: You were Mr. Atlas that day.
R: The signs at that intersection are very confusing.
J: You mean the sign that said “Little Lameshur This Way”?
R: Just say we were drunk.
J: Nobody would believe me.
R: Where is Jeff? Who is this?

It’s not all bad, mistakes turn into great blog fodder. As usually does booze. :)

You guys are hysterical. I’m pretty sure most of us come here to be amused, and you definitely do that. Thanks for the video….wherever it is.

    Hello All,

New here. Just had to say thanks a lot! (some sarcasm) I just spent 4 hrs yesterday reading Bongo Bongo Blog from start to finish (like a Dean Koontz novel-just couldn’t put it down) and now found this blog and am up to February so far. Thanks to your links I now have to catch up on Arc Du Soleil, Concordia something, and Amansala. I am hoping to catch up on all that before I find more links from you all. I can’t stop. It is a true addiction! I am also a poster on vinow msg board. Yes, I do have a life (and this is it!). Thanks though for the blogs, they are entertaining and we will vacation St. John one day and look you all up!

Don’t feel so bad. I know people who live on St. John that get these two places mixed up and know less about some roads than I do.

    Welcome to the club Teresa!

First it’s Bongo, now on-stjohn, then vinow. Must spend less time working, more time day dreaming . . . have you tried

    Teresa,

By all means, get to STJ, you’ll get it…it gets in your mind, body & spirit, then you are addicted to everything St John just as everyone says!

Oh trust me, I have been to STJ more times than I can count. I have just as many pics of the same view over trunk bay. Why? Because you can’t drive by without stopping and getting a pic. It is just that beautiful. Thanks for more links, my bleary bloodshot eyes really thank you for more things to do on my computer. I had to pause my dreaming to get caught up on the hurricane predictions. Don’t get me started on how many of those sites I have bookmarked…
