High season’s coming!
St. John’s entering that calendar void where hotel bookings and villa rentals slow to the lowest level of the year. Low season is when bars, restaurants, villa owners, management companies and just about anybody else who depends on you liking them repairs, replaces and repaints. Like Noah’s Little Arks. A brand new fleet of yellow dinghies (Yellow Boats are Cool) has just arrived, and this year, they’ll be sporting fancy, branded, painted motor hoods. So you don’t forget where to return it. Have we told you lately how fun a day on a dinghy is?

I think it’s $130/full day for a 12 ft dinghy, plus $20 for fuel and $75/half day for a 12 ft dinghy plus $10 for fuel.
The fuel part may fluctuate. No sure if the larger dinghies are more.

Is St Thomas too far away to go Dinghy raiding from St. John?

Noah’s won’t let you. Neither will the Westin, but locals make the trip in dinghies.

Thanks Jeff. One more question…Is there a water taxi option vs. the ferry from St. Thomas? We get in late…and want to get
to the hotel fast. Does it run out of Red Hook? Price? Thanks SO much.

I see Dohm’s Water Taxi mentioned often. The number is 340-775-6501. Their Website is www.watertaxi-vi.com
I’m sure there must be others as well.
