Like spoiled little brats who demand constant praise, we bawled and screamed and spat up our food and threw things when we saw there was not one comment posted under the latest Beach Break, Hart Bay. So we’re taking our marbles and going home. No more Beach Breaks for you.

We didn’t comment because we were enjoying the quietness of this one… no screaming kids like “that beach by the airport”. What it lacked in noise, it made up for with plastic forks, rope, driftwood and a toothbrush…

Sad. I love the beach breaks. I look forward to them for a wonderful reminder of when we were there. It will probably be a long time before we can come back so this was my little reminder of how beautiful it is there.

O.K.,O.K…….we’ll pitch in and buy you another one, just keep the Beach Breaks coming!! All kidding aside…You have no idea what they mean to us back here in our (#$%!&%) jobs. To be able to escape from our drudgery even for a few minutes, is, like, well, like a breath of fresh air……

I anally reviewed all On-St.John blog postings since it’s inception: 17 of them elicited “0 comments”. Only 6 produced more comments than the controversial 9/6/07 “We’re taking beach break away from you” blog.
Lurkers like myself are the 90% of the iceberg underneath the posted comments. “0 comments” simply means the iceberg has temporarily bobbed below the surface…it still exists!
Before I reached for my newly prescribed 50 mg of Tenormin (high blood pressure medication), please tell me that you’ll reconsider “Beach breaks”!
No pressure…
