Make mosquitoes fun
It’s been a long time since mosquitoes have seemed as bad as they have this summer. You can spray yourself, and burn coils and candles all you want, but you might as well turn it into a game. Mosquito swatters are just great fun. Especially when you nail a big mosquito and it doesn’t only go “crack!” when it fries, but you get a big old rewarding spark out of it too. Honestly, after a while, you’ll be up patrolling, just looking for more to zap. Your favorite will be the multiple play…when a group of them all get caught together in one swing. “Crack…CRACK CRACK CRACK!”

The reason some are really big is because they are filled with your blood! If you want to have some real fun, try hitting a cockroach. It takes several hits to bring them down. You have to chase them all over the place. Of course these are never found at Bongo Bongo.

Ruth & Ron’s will be our first stop upon arrival on island next trip. The bug zapper will be in hand before the booze!!!

My hubby really wants one of these, but not sure they are sold in the states. This is a must-purchase next time we are in St John. We were almost eaten alive when we were there in April/May - should have gotten one then.

I love those swatters! Of course in Nevada we don’t have that many mosquitos but we do have flies and it works wonders!

We bought a pair of those babies when we were down in Oct. ‘05. They provided most excellent evening poolside entertainment!! The stories that the fingers of drunken wielders were sparked for sport cannot be proven.
