Beach Break: Cocolobo Beach
You will probably never go to this beach…unless you are staying at a villa in this particular part of Fish Bay. And that’s probably just fine with those who are. What a sweet little spot though. It’s on the eastern edge of Fish Bay, directly across from Ditleff Point. A sand and coral stretch reached by a very short hike through parkland. Cocolobo Beach, below!

Tonight I just have to get out my tap room glasses, make a rum drink and watch again. Wish I was there.

Nice beach break!! The only thing missing is me sitting in that chair. I especially love the shots that show the trees blowing gently in the island breeze.

Thanks for the beach break. I have not been to Cocolobo Beach but was curious about, after considering staying at a villa here. It looks nice and peaceful.

Just what I needed, a zen beach break in the last week of the Gov.fiscal year. Ahhhh, I’ll be back when I need to find my happy place!

That was by far my favorite beach break. I know that Cocolobo beach is not a “classic” beach like Trunk, but, man, Fish Bay is beautiful. We always stay in Fish Bay because it is so quiet. Of course, the new development on Ditliff may change that. But, for the time being, that area is our home away from home.
Thanks.

Gorgeous! I think I like the “audio” of the wave noises of these Beach Breaks almost as much as the video. Y’all should do a looong Blue Cobblestone Beach Break, heavy on the audio.

here it is 2:43 and I’m just now reporting in for my beach break! very bad!
but worth waiting for - only 57 more days!

Is that a ‘beaching only’ beach or also possible to swim or snorkel there? From the video, it seems like it’s very shallow for a long long way.

Great beach break! We stay in the Point Rendezvous area, I’m going to have to find my way down to Cocolobo next trip. By the way, what was the music behind this break? It was gorgeous, and so perfect for the video…

Sadly Robin, the music has no name, no title and no artist associated with it. It is simply a commodity, for people like us who use Avid or Final Cut Pro and who buy vast amounts of royalty free music on the backs of exceptional artists creating fantastic tracks and getting no more than union wages. So, to the grunge dude in Santa Barbara or wherever you are that wrote the theme to Cocolobo Beach, look to audiences like Robin. This is why you get up in the morning and go to the studio for $390 per day.
