Woody’s is ready for high season

Woody’s reopened yesterday after a few weeks’ worth of refurbishing. Like those spiffy new awnings? Brand new paint all around and lots of other catch-up maintenance, and Woody’s is ready for another season. Ya know, when businesses shut down in September or October, it doesn’t mean a month off for the owners. It just means a chance to work hard getting ready for another year. And now Woody’s is back on line for Happy Hour. Yippee!

Spiffy new, clean look!! It certainly needed it. We’lll be drinking to that. For years it’s been our first stop off the ferry, then on to Courtesy to rent the car from Mr. Greg. Hope Woody’s dog-eared menus were changed too, but not the prices. .

Todd and Chad did good! Can’t wait to see them and have a frosty bushwacker when I return in February.

The place did need refurbishing; it was looking dirty-seedy instead of fun-funky.What about the WC with the open window?

Nice. I can’t really tell but it looks like the dumpster may have been moved, too? That would be a good call.

I hpoe they manage to keep that edgy itinerant divey feel. I would submit that their commode it the hardest working toilet on the island.

16 beers & 4 dinners for less than $40! Man I love that place!

    Gotta Say.

Never been. We always thought it was a little seedy looking and filled with people who looked too cool for us.

    Next year…
