What are the odds of that?

Granted it’s a small island and all, but what are the mathematical odds of that? Two jeeps parked right next to each other in the Cruz Bay parking lot, tags JAG 531 and JAG 532. Even if they’re both rentals (we couldn’t tell) that’s somethin’. Maybe it’s more remarkable that we would actually NOTICE this.

Did you know: If you see a J tag, it’s a St. John registered vehicle. If it starts with T, it’s St. Thomas. And C means that vehicle had a long, wet drive from St. Croix.

Are those military Judge Advocate General (JAG) vehicles? Are we being investigated? My paranoia is running high. Must have a drinnk to calm down,

We aready knew that little tid-bit of information, the first time we stepped on St John soil…..that a ‘J’ plate was registered on St John… ‘T’ St Thomas and ‘C’ St Croix …please tell us something we don’t aready know, like when W.A.P.A. is going to show up to install our electricity !!!!!!! ‘J’ is also for JEFF !!!! Did you know if your plates registration ‘expired’… BUT… it is a rental…..it is O.K. !!??? We knew That !!!

Thank God you blogged about something that I didn’t have to add to my list! :P Yes we knew that little bit of info as well. My husband drove his work truck on STT which had a ‘C’ license plate, which we never understood since it had never set foot..err..tire on St. Croix. I still hate that on STT if your registration on your car expires and you are not related to the police or friends that your vehicle gets towed to the pound. Umm, couldn’t they just give us a ticket? Now of course if you are fleeing the scene of crime and your license is not expired, then they can not pull you over…nevermind that, I am going to quit watching the news…Back to fun things. It is more weird that you noticed the license plates.

I totally would have noticed that, and would have made my 3 travel mates stop to look. Mrs Rob would have dutifully stopped and humored me while the other 2 ingrates would have walked on, wondering for the upteenth time why they travel with me.

Then they’d remember that they were in St John and all they’d had to do was write checks and show up on time and all would be forgiven. They still would NOT look at the jeeps.
