This is a favorite place for me and Linda. Snorkel toward Yawzi Point and you'll find some magnificent coral heads with deep caverns. Some of the biggest angel fish in the world live here as well as the occasional eagle ray. Lots of big yellowtail snappers, too! On the beach, there are sometimes little artistic "statements" made from the broken coral and pebbles that are always good for a smile. The tree is a good place to hide your sandals.

These beach breaks are therpeutic. I am sure you had a calming effect on any road rage I may have driving in Boston today.

Alas and alack...Apparently there are no villas to be had the week after Christmas. Sniff. Sniff. This beach break just makes me want to visit (aka live on) STJ even more. Keep it coming, guys. I'll try to keep a chins up.

Well you finally went & did it - disclosed our "secret" beach to all. This is called "Christmas Beach" among the locals, and we make it a tradition to spend every Christmas morning there. It is good snorkeling from here around Yawzi Point where there is very deep water and very large critters, Then can re-enter on the Little Lameshur side via a rocky beach, or snorkel back to Christmas Beach. Water shoes are required!

Love it ! Love it ! I miss the big puffy clouds against the brilliant blue sky. All I get is smog and skyscrapers. Maybe can you pan up and show the gorgeous sky? Thank you for all the beach breaks.

Very nice....these Wednesday morning beach breaks are now a ritual that we look forward to all week. There is so much still to see on STJ, we may need to spend less time at bars and more time hiking, nah, more on-island time is the real answer.
