Another great business gone - I feel sad for the Panini guys. This guy Ed must be a real JOY to deal with...

I did the original build-out for the space back when Paul Sabers still owned Wharfside. Hate to see my work disappear like that. Especially the bar. Good luck to the new owners!

When we go this winter, we'll certainly give it a try. Hope they will "do" lunch. It's a favorite meal for us "aging gourmets".

Bert,

I'll try not to put my foot in my mouth here but it does seem like they could use some arch support now that they have taken out the plexiglass.

We are looking forward to the menu... the "farewell dinner' we had at Panini (tuna with an elegant carmelized sauce) sets a precedent or benchmark to be surpassed in our taste buds. Planning to give it a try, and hope it lives up to our expectations. If, so we'll surely become "habitues".

Jeff, the new deck is shaped like a foot? Cool. I guess it will increase the foot traffic. Or maybe have a better toe hold on the waterfront. It will probably have more sole than the old deck, too.......just some random thoughts....

Great, yet another expansion of Wharfside Village over the 50-foot setback required at waterfront properties (though I guess it's in line with the rest of that development, with both High Tide and Joe's way beyond the legal boundaries)

Looks like they've done more work on this than has been ever attempted on the traffic circle.
