e-coli recalls of little concern to iguana population

These guys are munching post-lunch leftover lettuce freebees in Red Hook at a waterside Irish pub called Molly Malone’s. The restaurant is swarming with iguanas! Which is odd because there are signs everywhere that tell you not to feed them, but the kitchen feeds them anyway. And it’s a little disconcerting to be sitting there in flip flops with your naked toes as these guys circle close in for some of your lunch. It’s still a nice, waterfront spot. Find it at American Yacht Haven.

Sorry, I don’t like Molly Malones. Life is too short to eat blah food. There are dozens of better restaurants on STT with better tasting food. I give them 2 out of 5 stars. Maybe 3 for location. They are a tourist trap and so is Duffy’s while I am at it. :-(

Just go to Burrito Bay Deli. There are other good food places to eat while waiting on your ferry to STJ. I am going to watch Wednesday’s Beach Break and refind my zen. ;-)

    Bud: Is this a game?

    Let me play, please!

    Due “to drunken stupidity”

Remind me to NEVER go there. I can assure you that one of the iguanas would walk into the bar and bite me. Animals don’t like me. A flock of emus once attacked me

Would it be more appropriate to call it a “HERD” of emus?

Either way, that’s funny! Not to make light of it though…

How’d that happen anyway? Were you in Spain for the “Running of the Emus”?

Is it me or does the sign stop before the sentence is complete? Iguana got your tongue?

Emu = bird = flock. I’m sticking with it.

I was at Gatorland in FLA. I don’t like talking about it much. It was horrible. the emotional scars run deep…very deep.

This is not to be confused with the attack pelican on Curacao or the birds in DC.

FYI…a group of emus is referred to as a “mob”….so rob, I guess you could say that you were attacked by the mob….
