Ahhh. American.
Why don’t we fly American? Well because of Miami of course. Yuck. (The airport. Not the city.) We tripped up and did it this time. Ah, but what a great way to get here, MIA aside. And just for the expense account of it we bumped ourselves up to the front of the plane. Now this is class. We’re eating off stuff somebody’s going to have to put in a dishwasher. If you have a choice, we say choose American to get down here.
We wish US Airways would get its act together. It’s goal is to be a low cost carrier (New NYSE ticker symbol? LCC, as in “low cost carrier.”) The only problem is, so far US Airways only has the Low and Carrier part down.

We’re headed down this morning out of IAD. I’ve been trying to book a March trip, but it looks like the earliest we can get in to STT is 3PM? How weird is that?

If you guys really want to be cool try getting a private plane for trips to St. John. That is what i have done. My plane goes 175mph cruise and seats two and only burns 20 bucks worth of fuel per hour. Sure, it takes longer to get there, but he tradeoff is I can fly low and check out the terrain and I don’t have to deal with all the bs at the airports. check out cirrusdesign.com- that is the plane angelina and brad fly - they’re 4 seaters and can be had relatively cheap, especially when you go in with someone else. It ends all the price games and bs usair and others employ and lets you go when you truly want to.

Ahhh…US Suck as I call them. I”m rolling the dice on a flight to PHL this week and taking Southwest. When I go up there, I have to consider 2 things; the suck of US Air vs the suck of PHL.
SWA is more likely to suck less once on board, but their terminal is horrid. US Air is more likely to suck in the air, and their terminal is slightly less horrid.
I do love me some air travel.
1st class is the way to go though. I did it once this summer and giggled for the whole flight as a parade of vodka flowed through me.

God would I love to get first class seats without having to spend a fortune. We’re not flying back down to the island until our wedding which isn’t until Thanksgiving of 2008. Coach seats have just gotten to be so sucky. But I can’t really afford to spend $2k a seat either.
