Spooky Island

Ah, that one day a year when people down here get to dress funny and act goofy. Wait. That’s every day.

There are parties all over the island tonight, but you’ve got to come up with a darn good costume to turn heads on St. John.

I was thinking for pure “scare” factor, a simple black ball cap and black windbreaker with big yellow letters on the back that spell FBI. Boo!

Or for the “what are you” factor, a dark gray suit, white dress shirt with a nice silk tie and polished dress shoes. And then, to about half the good guys down here who say “what are you?”, I could say “I’m you…ten years ago.”

   “I am you, ten years ago.” Priceless!

   I wentto the Morgan’s party as a tourist one year. My friend and I dressed in tacky hawaiian shirts, socks with sandals, and signs around our neck that said : “what time does the 4:00 ferry leave?” we actually had a tourist ask what we were dressed as.

   Happy Halloween…..hey, where’s BEACH BREAK!!!! I just grabbed my coffee and said..it’s Wednesday..beach break, yea!! Party sounds like fun, be there in 38 days!!! BTW, is the All Island Holiday Party at Mongoose Junction a local affair or do tourists attend and when is it???

    Too much trick or treating by you two to have a beach break???? The day just won’t be the same…but I AM a suvivor.

    Maybe for Halloween you should have been the ones that USED to bring us Beach Break!

    Does Morgan’s party on halloween still support ACC? Carlos and his wife have done such wonderful things for ACC…..

    Back in the crazy days, the servers at Morgan’s Mango used to dress up “topless” with painted-on a bikini tops for Halloween.
