There isn't anyplace on St. John to buy the kind of camera stuff they sell--Cruz Bay photo is mostly disposable cameras and regular film, etc. I had to go to the Royal Caribbean on St. Thomas to replace my camera when I broke it mid-trip, and it was a hassle to get there and wasted most of a day. It's not like it's going to draw crowds of people from St. Thomas, they will shop at the St. Thomas locations. It will, however, be convenient for the people staying on St. John. I think that this will be nice to have. They were honest with us on what was a good deal and what was more expensive than the stateside prices. We bought a lot from them in two years on island. Hopefully it is the same people opening the store on STJ. I don't know if there is a big enough market for them, but still wish them well. Is STJ changing quickly or is it that I am just noticing?
