The airport bar is closed!
That got your attention, didn’t it. It’s true. The bar and cafeteria are undergoing yet another renovation. You can still get a little something. There’s a hot dog warmer set up in a corner. And a cooler with ham or turkey sandwiches, or salads. Or chocolate cake. But that’s about it. Oh. And relax about the bar part. There’s a temporary pouring station set up as well. (ETA on the new space: “About a month.”)

Forget about the idiots wondering what to bring in their cooler on the way too STT/STJ, make sure your bring a cocktail or 10 on your way out!

Hope the renovation includes more employees to take your order, more cooks, more tables and a better system to pay for it all!
Good Luck Cyril E. King!

I know. We had to settle for a dark and stormy.
No airport painkillers for now.
Marthas’ cooler remark cracked me up!

Not a good way to start my day. The bartender in the picture is the wicked witch of STT. She cackles when I ask for a drink and then she ignores me. Seeing her picture first thing in the morning just gave me the willies.

Is the one in baggage claim still open? We have already given Eddie instructions to have 4 very cold beers from that bar ready when he sees us. We are carrying on so no need to have to wait at that little slow bar. We will just walk around the building, reach out for our beers from him, give him a big hug and a kiss and be off to Bongo Bongo!

“Forget about the idiots wondering what to bring in their cooler on the way”……and why is that being an “idiot” ???? Little harsh I might say.
