Meet our newest advertiser: Ceremonies of St. John

Stacy Mulcare, the first true wedding planner to set up shop on St. John, is one busy woman. Her business, Ceremonies of St. John, has been featured on the Travel Channel and in several magazines, and the testimonials on her Website speak for themselves. She knows all the right people on the island and can pull off just about any request. And it doesn’t hurt that her husband of 15 years, Seamus Mulcare, happens to be St. John’s top wedding cake maker. Remember The Royal Wedding Cake? That’s Seamus’ work.

If you’re planning on getting hitched, you work on the hitching part and leave the planning part to Stacy. Learn more about Ceremonies of St. John here.  And, read a little Q&A with Stacy here.

Great job. I love knowing about all of the new business on STJ. I’m not planning another wedding though!

Stacy planned our wedding on STJ in 2004 and did an awesome job. Can’t recommend her or Seamus enough for the perfect wedding & wedding cake.

Stacy is the best! She helped me with my wedding in May of 2001. Seamus catered our dinner and made our cake - our guests raved about it. I recommend them both to anyone planning a wedding on the rock.

Many years ago I remember having a conversation with Stacy and Seamus at Woodys where Stacy said “Do you really think I need a web site?” (That’s how long she’s been doing this.) Technology-wise, this was about a billion years ago.
It was shortly after I worked as a server at one of Stacy’s wedding events (Seamus was the Chef) and wore a sarong for the first time. I had an extremely unfortunate experience with the sarong while carrying crystal champagne flutes on a tray near the pool at Cinnamon Ridge. Fortunately it was pretty dark and fortunately I didn’t break anything.
I now know how to wear a sarong properly, thank goodness. I can’t believe they ever hired me again after that.
Stacy and Seamus are brilliant and VERY funny.
If you’re getting married, give them a call!

We are getting married in Nov of 2008 and I am using Stacy’s services. She has been so fantastic to work with. I can be a bit of a nut at times and she has the patience of a saint!
