On-StJohn TV: Christy Dove

The Coccoloba complex in Coral Bay is a treasure trove of unique little stores…and Big Fish and Little Fish are two of them. Meet Christy Dove, the owner , and St. Johnian by way of Penn State. An aging grandfather led Christy and her family to St. John years ago. Today, Mom helps in the shops and Dad runs book-it vi. And Christy runs stores that showcase what locals make. (And she’s single!) Meet Christy Dove, and find out how Chilly Billy’s got its name, below!

Thanks for taking me back to Coral Bay on this cold Kentucky morning! I have not had the pleasure of meeting Christy, but we did meet her Mom and Dad. They are such a nice family! We rented through bookitvi in May, as well as shopping in Big Fish and Little Fish. I would highly recommend them all!

I met Christy’s mom (or mom-in-law?) and her grandmother while we were there. They were so kind … so very nice to my little ones. And I made a nice little contribution to her shop ;)

What a nice clip - I really enjoy your interviews with people on the island. The story of moving Grampa down to the islands away from cold weather was so touching. Also love the cute shop name. Looking forward to shopping there next trip.
