Gov’s Cruz Bay Christmas party for kids
Governor John deJongh brought Santa and some cheer to kids in Cruz Bay Park this morning, the first of three children’s Christmas parties the governor is hosting. (One on St. Thomas and one on St. Croix too.) Ruth from St. John Spice, ever the kid herself, caught a few minutes of video from the sidelines this morning. (You’ll need Windows Media Player to watch it.) As always, Ruth has chosen simple cinematography and lets the event itself be the narrative. Enjoy. Click here.

Cute video Ruth! I liked how the cop car zoomed through with a zillion kids around.

This was a nice event and I wanted to share it right away. It could have used a little editing, but I used up all my funtime today attending the event and filming. It was direct from Cruz Bay Park to your eyes and ears. I posted it on youtube for those of you who don’t use Windows Media Player.

Awww, very nice, Ruth!
You and those kids had a heck of a lot more fun than I did today.

Thanks Ruth! Great way to get into the St. John Christmas spirit. Loved the music. Hope some one will catch Santa’s arrival by boat on Christmas Eve. A unique Tradition on St. John. hint hint
Seasons greetings to all.
