Jeep Cam: North Shore Road, Part 5

Are you getting tired of this yet? Stay with us. We’re almost to Colombo’s. This time we’ll swing through the Cinnamon Bay lot (don’t mind the guy in the white SUV calling his kids while stopped in the middle of the road) and head out to the Maho Bay overlook. Not much to point out, so just sit back and breathe in that tamarind-scented air! North Shore Road, Part 5, below.

Love the video. Brings back memories of walking from Maho Bay to Cruz Bay. Why can’t that saxaphone music play everywhere?!

    Jeff,
Thanks so much for the Cinnamon tour. As you make the turn off North Shore Rd. into the parking area, you can see all the way to the water. That certainly put a lump in my throat, a tickle in my tummy and a tear in my eye.
    How’s the DVD coming?

That is EXACTLY what I needed this morning. I’m in Boston and what a storm we had yesterday; about a foot of snow. It took me 2.5 hours to get home (just about 12 miles). Another snow storm on its way over the weekend. I wish I was on the rock!!! Thanks guys. You sure help alot of people get through the day.

I’am definitely NOT getting tired of the Jeep Cam! I’m looking forward to more, more, more. I think you could drive the whole island too and we wouldn’t get sick of it. There are so many places you can take us.

    2 things:
1: Was this all shot on the same trip? Because, the weather is improving. funny to remember how fast the weather changes.

2: You’re not from NJ. That’s for certain. Even though I no longer live there, my driving spirit still does. I would not have pulled around the SUV. I would have leaned on the horn, not in a “Beep Beep Hi there, pal” way, but more in a “Get the F out of my way” way. After my wife got done screaming at me from the backseat (”You’re on vacation you A-hole. Get off the horn”), I would have pounded the steering wheel and then muttered something unprintable here. Ahhh…vacation!

I just watched it twice. No, I’m not getting tired of the jeepcam. I love it!
I am still trying to find John Head Road, though, (where it and the North Shore Road meet). Did I miss it on this segment, or was it in part 4?

Kygirl - The exit to the John Horn Road (lower Catherineberg) was on part 4, between Peter Bay & Cinnamon Bay. The road can be easily missed, as it is a dirt road. It’s best to enter Catherineberg from Centerline Road and decend down to the North Shore Road, rather then going up, lots of switchbacks.

Yesssss I’m getting sick and tired of the Jeep Cam…please stop it. I’m sick and tired of how jealous I am of you guys doing such a hip site and seemingly having fun doing it as well.

So…please stop it now. Come to Michigan and do a sledding cam for the next 5 months.

    108 days…we soon Come!!!

Thanks,…no I mean stop it already!!!

Lov’in the videos of the road… brings back memories. We drove that sucker so many times on our honeymoon.
Keep’em coming… do the whole length and head over to Coral Bay, that’s a cool drive going over the side of Bordeaux Mt. And/or break off to another part of the island (107 down to Saltpond)
Thanks again for these videos! And again, keep’em coming if you can! :)

Now I’m really confused. I just rewatched part 4 and it ends at Peter Bay. Did I miss the section between Peter Bay and Cinnamon? … maybe it’s just me.
