Jeep Cam: Last stretch of North Shore Road!

We reach the end of North Shore Road, and it’s one of the prettiest stretches. No amazing overlooks and not much to point out, but there is an endless green canopy overhead. We’ll start just past Maho, where the road actually splits into two way traffic for awhile. There are a couple of road signs to pay attention to, but Centerline Road, and Colombo’s Smoothies aren’t far now.

if you took a left toward annaberg instead of a right toward centerline, that would have shown some of the most beautiful waterscapes on the island.

The ’split road’ is one of my favorite drives on the island; especially the part coming back into town where you past the old ruin with 2 arches. Just love it for some reason.

I laughed when I saw your ‘rolling stop’ though. Even here in the states a crabby officer would ticket you. BUT in the island, OMG…friends of ours still fume at the time that they stopped by the Texaco in town & got a hefty ticket. Why you ask? The ornery officer told them that they MUST always count to 10 at any stop sign. Just try it next time you stop. Unbelievable. One of the memories of the island…
