Tigger update: Water therapy

Here’s Tigger getting some therapy at Johnson Bay, where he tried to swim a little on his own. Swimming was followed by a flea and tick bath. Tigger continues to get acupuncture treatments every other day, and can lift a paw all by himself now. Tail? Check. Left paw? Check. He’s getting there.

Go Tigger GO…Hopefully the warm, rejuvenating waters of St John are theraputic…I know the waters always soothe me when we are there.

MAJOR THANKS TO NANCY B, who sent down her lab’s custom life jacket. I received it today! It will be so much easier than trying to use ski belts and a people jacket. Can’t wait to try it on Tigger this weekend. I love all the comments, and they continue to inspire me! Everyday I see a little more improvement from Tigger. Thanks for bloggin everyone. It’s nice to know that I’m not in this alone.

    Ann Marie,

So glad to hear that it got there so quickly! I mailed it from Sea Isle City, NJ on Saturday the 16th and Monday was a postal holiday! People say it takes long for things to get to St. John but it seems as if Foster’s vest was meant to be there for Tigger! Good luck with your water therapy. We will be on island beginning Saturday so hopefully, we’ll run in to you.
