Nice video & interview! Jeff – you looked like you were tempted to “double dip” your bread in the vinegar & olive oil!

Great interview and fantastic shots of all the goodies. Thanks guys. I can’t wait to get there in a few months. How are prices?

I like his phrase, “I do nothing very well”. He may say that, but it sounds like he worked really hard to get quality product. I have to go to three different places to get the wine, cheese, and food that he has there in his store, but I am in Atlanta. Sigh. Just one more reason to be on STJ. I need a vacation.

I think the new Starfish is great, however I wonder if there really is a viable market on STJ for canned snails (two sizes!) and $50 bottles of balsamic vinegar. It almost seems a little too high end for the regular STJ visitor and/or locals. I’m sure the chefs on the island are over the moon, though.
I wish them good luck!

Paul was the gent who helped me with my Truffle cheese and gave me 50% off
I like him! It’s a great store. If this is something you enjoy at home you will like having these items available on island. Or treat yourself – it’s vacation after all!

Where are they located? Are they in the Starfish grocery store?

They’re just across the vestibule from the Mothership at Marketplace.

I think those red topped tubs I see to the right of Paul’s head are full of Sabra hummus… I hope they have the spicy kind! I love that stuff, they had a small selection at the Market, but not that extensive of an offering. Best of luck to this new, high-end venture.
