We met this guy a few days ago… should have called you guys! Just got back to snow in Atlanta on Wednesday morning. Interesting story, but I won’t steal your story line. Nice to see its not just a rotting hulk have sunken on the shore.

I just hope it won’t be a beached boat bar.

Hey, I thought I won that old metal boat (Ali-Oop) along with a really terrific On-St. John t-shirt in your lyrics contest. Okay, well I guess if it’s all for the good of improving the look of the harbor, then I’m willing to relinquish my rights to it. Can’t wait to hear what his plans are. Ali~

C’mon…give us hint…even if we’re wrong, I bet we can start a pretty good rumor!!!!
Does the fact that this guy’s smiling have anything to do with what’s in the gallon jug?????

Lemme guess- they are going to attach that boat to a crane and use it as the wrecking ball (since it weighs as much as a wrecking ball) to help demolish the island Eyesores- Grande Bay (it’ll start with the top wo floors) and Sirenusa.

Tom - I live in Cold-lanta as well. snow??? I thought I moved to Hot-lanta! Oh well.

Jeff or Russ - I personally hate teasers…and this is a good one. Now I have to check your site hourly to see if the story broke or not. Do you understand what this does to my life? ;-) Sigh.
Can I just get an email alert or something?

    Teresa,
I know exactly what you mean. Must be some high-level investigation going on here.

Maybe it is going to be a Wade Watching Tour Boat? It should have a good view of were his little family members were swimming around last year.

I would paint it white, put a freezer on it, then add bells (ching ching) and cruise all the north shore beaches as the “GOOD HUMER BOAT”

    Capt. John -

I think you are on to a good business plan there… think of how much business you could drum up cruising up and down the beaches with all those thristy people on shore…

All you would have to do is drop anchor just outside the swim bouys and send out a runner in a kayak to take orders and shuttle drinks…

I think the guy looks like Joe from Joe’s Rum Hut…so my guess there’s drinking behind the story???

    (remembering my song)
“She thinks my old boat’s sexy”

I was totally jipped from the contest. I’m going to cling to this like an Angry gore voter from 2000!

Anyone else remember that old sketch they did on In Living Color? when Damon Waynes used to tote around that jar filled with yellow liquid?

    Yea.

    I remember it too.

    Just sayin’ as all
