Jeep Cam: Skytop
If you’re on Marina Drive and cross the little bridge, take a quick left onto a short dirt road. Then bear right. Then take a left. Now you’re on Skytop Lane. And you’re on your way up, up, up to one of the highest points on the South Shore. We’ll go to the very top, and stop at driveways that lead to two great houses, South Shore Villa and Sol Inclination. Buckle up. Skytop, below!

happy friday-wow that was great.
last year we stayed at croix vista,just a short
distance from where you turned off. the first
switchback is kind of tricky, (the one with the
concrete wall that has all the marks on it) but
when you do it a couple of times, you don’t have
to back up. i’m glad those roads have some concrete down.thanks for the memories. have a great week.

South Shore Villa is our favorite place! We can not wait to visit again soon and have fun driving our jeep up the switchbacks. The view is fabulous and the owners are great people

When Marcia and I first started staying out in the Fish Bay area, there was no concrete on that first stretch of the road. That was one bumpy, fun ride.

Great ride!! My daughter was married last May and she rented South Shore Villa. My Husband and I were also in a house in Fish Bay but it was not up high. It took us two days to get the nerve to drive up to South Shore Villa because it just looked so high. Actually once we got used to the road it was OK. Wish we were there now. We are in Northeast Ohio and getting pounded by snow. We’re supposed to have 10 to 20 inches in the next day and earlier this week it was an ice storm.

jeepcam is awesome and i look forward to each one, but one request to the camera guy…can you loosen up the bolt and take a peek at the incredible panoramas just off camera…tar is nice but turquoise is nicer…sorry, it’s winter up here. i’m getting cranky. o’man

When we stayed at SSV last November, hubbie - the bestest island chauffer, never had to back up at the concrete wall, he always managed to skim the turn. Enjoyed this one alot!
