New Feature: St. John Overlooks

Here is the first installment of a new, occasional feature called St. John Overlooks. Pretty self-explanatory! We’ll start with every tour taxi’s first stop: The Cruz Bay Overlook.

Very nice way to start the day. I love stopping there for a few minutes to take in the “hustle and bustle” of the harbor. Even that monstrosity up the block from the Beach Bar can’t spoil a view that good.

    Awesome!
My wife and I made that same taxi stop as our introduction to St. John back in’89.

Love the new feature. Thank you! A moment in St. John is just what I needed this morning.
We saw the most beautiful sunset from that overlook back in November. Ah, memories!

(Hey, that could be a new feature: St. John sunrises/sunsets.)

I found this site a couple of weeks ago and can not tell you how much I love it. This overlook feature is just awsome.

I have been coming there for 30 years and as I tell people up here in Boston “I live on St John’ but spend 50 weeks a year in Boston for work.

    Keep up the great work

This was the overlook where we got married. (Well, right next door at Asolare.) What an awesome spot!

Great job guys, You’re the best!

I agree with Lee. The joy of anticipation, coupled with the lasting memories no one can take away, is 90% of the vacation experience. (The 10% of actually experiencing the vacation ain’t bad either!)

    Thanks for the great site.

    13 days and counting!

The Bongo Boys have an open invitation at the Morningside Villa while we’re on island. A couple of cold one’s will be on reserve.

I love it! Nice replacement for the Beach Cam, I need a dose of your beautiful island every day, it’s cold here in the city…
