i’ve only ever been during low season. how diffierent is it from thanksgiving - nowish? would you say it’s better or worse?

We went last fall and this past February as well. I have to say that I’ve always been a “high season” girl until these past two trips. Between the amount of people and the water conditions (and obviously price), I think I have become an off season convert. Can’t wait until this fall!! ALready booked the flight.

How much significance should one put on potential hurricanes when planning a visit during the off-season? I realize they usually don’t hit St. John directly, but if there’s one in the Atlantic or elsewhere in the Carribean, the water, wind and weather gets mighty rough sometimes, doesn’t it? Thanks for the answer.
