OH MAHO! Take me away my love!I miss you and long for your calming crystal blue waters. We have been apart for many months now, but hold on my dear. We shall be together again once I can free myself from the chains of this far away city . . .
Everytime I see the water color in photos or video I think, “It just can’t be that color.” But everytime I go back it really is that color. There has to be a way to successfully transition to be there full time or nearly so.
Oh no, now I have to get back to my boring job where my next task is to place an order for blue ball point pens and 3×3 stickie notes. How on earth will I be able to do it after watching that intensely beautiful footage that temporarily took me away to another world?
Gorgeous…beautiful…peaceful. Very, very nicely done. Love the time lapse over the cliffs showing the shadows. It’s easy to get lost watching it and listening to the music.
GREAT JOB GUYS! Beautiful, music and scenery. You know, with that kind of eye and talent, you should really have yourself a web page, with lots of video……beaches, villas, etc. Really, you should think seriously about it.
Thanks for making my day! Can’t wait til July!! Just 68 more days……
Nothing helps pass the time on a conference call like these videos. While everyone else is interrupting and talking over each other, I’m on Maho! Thanks Jeff and Russ.
(Can you add a video segment every other Wednesday . . .say at 4:00EST?)

Horace

Just in case anyone goes back to reread these… the new Spring/Summer issue of “Land & People” (Vol 20, No. 1, 2008), the magazine published by the Trust for Public Land, has a really nice article called “Protecting Paradise” which tells the story of how they managed to save the 420 acres of Maho Bay. It has great photos by Steve Simonsen (of course), maps, and explains in greater detail than I’d ever heard how it all happened. I hope everyone gets this magazine… if not, send a donation to the Trust! They’re still working hard to preserve more land in the Caribbean.
