We are renting a villa that faces the Point. Worried about rumors of construction. So disappointing. Are there a lot of homes/condos going up on that piece of land? Should I bring a hard hat? So this "path" you speak of... it goes from the road down to that little beach on Klein Bay that I would be looking at from my rental? Getting harder and harder to find paradise. That should be most interesting as the VI government is currently working on or just passed a law that "all" beaches are public and access has to be made from the land to the beaches for everyone not access from the water only as it was in the past. Quite the upgrade from the old walk down to Ditleff where on our first hike 8 years ago, we stumbled across such interesting things along the way as handcuffs on a branch and a nude guy on the beach. The stone work really is very beautiful. There are colorful shells embedded throughout which makes the walls more of a work of art than simply functional. We thought it was pretty humorous that they have cleared a great deal of the trees and native brush and planted a good number of palm trees at the end of the path to the beach.
