Clean park, free poster

To the outside observer, this may not look like much, but to those of you who’ve strolled through the little park by the tourism office in Cruz Bay, you’ll notice a big improvement. Fresh paint, new gravel, a few plants. Looks very nice.

And on the tourism building white board, underneath the schedule of events, are the words “Ask For Your Free Festival Poster Inside.” So there you go. Hurry, while supplies last.

Funny how that park is sometimes open, sometimes locked… which means a longer walk around to get where you’re going. It always seems like a nice quiet spot, tho’ I’ve never lingered.

    Ruth,
Any possibility to get another poster? I will be there July 17-28th. Last year I brought home your gummy geckos - what a hit! Let me know about the poster - Thanks! Debbie

That park is just to the left (east?) as you face Captain’s Corner. If you leave the store with your purchases, say a bottle of Cruzan and another free necklace, and want to head towards Mongoose Junction, cutting through that park is a shortcut. Unless it’s locked…

That park is between the Post Office and the Clinic. It is only open during business hours for the tourism office (VI government). So It’s closed on weekends and holidays. The gates used to be open all the time until the homeless moved in. Not fun running into Lunna or Patrina after hours!

I just picked up five more on my way back from the Post Office. I can mail a poster for just under $5.00.

Ruth - You might consider changing the name of your shop to St. John Spice & Posters. :)
