St. John Jeep survivors

The Jeep is a truck that is not easily dragged to the junk yard. A Jeep is a survivor and there are some great Jeep survivors still doing duty on St. John. Here are a couple of our favorites.

There is nothing like Stj jeeps with character! One of my favorites from years ago was a jeep with bull horns mounted to the hood!

I had a funny joke about the obviously after-market cup holder in the last pic and then a nice paragraph about how awesome StJ is but then Nibbles the Internet Hamster ate my comment.
Damn Nibbles.

I was a jeep lover and owner before I discovered that they are the preferred method of transpo on the island. I’m without Jeep now but would love to get my hands on another one!

Now those are REAL Jeeps. Some of the Jeep vehicles they are putting out today have strayed a little bit from the pedigree, but these are the real thing.

Those look pretty good to me… the island jeeps I’ve seen have live cactuses growing in the hood grill and no more than 10% of the original paint still showing.

Jeeps seem like they would be the most sensible thing to drive on an island like St. John…what kind of cars do you come across that just don’t make sense as far as practicality or common sense are concerned?????

I sent you guys a picture of my STJOHN jeep. I think that would fit in very well on the island with the others. Let me know your thoughts!!!
