Passing the plate We’re sure it’s just a few minor problems, but Café Roma has been closed at least two nights since the place changed owners couple of weeks ago. Once, for a minor electrical fire. Last night, for…well we’re not sure. Didn’t know there was a transfer in ownership. Perhaps I missed that while I was on vacation! The new ownership seems ominous!

It is probably the “working through island ownership kinks”
I know how quirky that building can be, and if you are not really familiar with it, it can be tough.

Hope the new owners can keep a good thing going!! Always eat there when on island and have(knock on wood) never had a bad meal. Lets all hope for the best!!

I was wondering why they weren’t open for our pizza last night??? We did hear a very loud noise sometime yesterday – possibly Cafe Roma???
Well, pizza next year! Leaving tomorrow.
