Marcia, STJ does have bats!! About 5 years ago, our friends went to turn in for the night and thankfully they turned back the bedding first…a bat had decided to sleep in their bed…not Goldilocks..a bat!!! Maybe if bat houses were hung about they might help with the mosquitos!

All St. John needs is some bats. We have ‘em here in Wisconsin.

They work great for eating up ‘dem skeeters. It just sucks when they sneak into the house with your teen-ager coming home from a date. A tennis racket works well for “stunning” them though. Pete is the master.

I’m just sayin’ we can bring some bats down with us next time we’re there…they eat up something like 10,000 skeeters an hour, a piece! That’s got to work better than any coil you could burn.

Just wondering… I’m a cancer survivor (YAY ME!!!) Before I got sick “skeeters” I was top on their food chain! Since then they don’t bite me. Its wierd! No chemo, no radiatoin..just surgery. Anyone have an explanation?

BTW.. I don’t reccomend my way of getting rid of my “skeeter” bites.
