Passport photos alfresco

Everybody needs a new passport photo every ten years or so. The State Department lets you submit your own these days, provided they’re properly done and all.
Alice Kalanther, who snagged some old photo gear from the now defunct Cruz Bay Photo, sets up shop outside of Connections two days a week. She’s filling a nice little niche.
“Business has been okay. Some days are busier than others, but overall no complaints,” Alice tells us. “If it’s slow, I can always be entertained by the parade of characters here at Connections!”
Two photos for $15. Four for $20. Alice is there Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
There used to be a woman who cut hair on the beach in Cruz Bay a couple of days a week. She’d hang her sign on a tree branch.

This has nothing to do with this story, but I couldn’t decide where to post my questions.
What happened to Wade this week? Didn’t he find anything that tickled his cartilage? I missed him.

I need a haircut, I wish that girl on the beach was still there.

Wade turned in to Jeff this week.

This has nothing to do with the story either, but, Jennifer cuts hair on the beach in Cruz Bay. She works at Noah’s Little Arks dinghy rentals. She’s on vacation right now, she’ll be back on the beach next week.

I think Alice needs a taller chair, unless that guy’s best side is the top of his head. Or, even better, another chair so she can work sitting down.

I like Jeff, but he’s no Wade!
(Don’t tell Jeff I said that either!)

The whole week we were in STJ (and during our layovers and flight home, as well as the past 2 days back at work), I kept trying to think of some kind of business model that would let us move down to STJ.
Alice came up with at good one!
