Good school play? Yes, they say

We pass on this review, from a reader, of the Gifft Hill School’s weekend performance of Princess Willow and the King of Thieves.
“Awesome! The kids pulled if off with style, humor and flair!”
The school put on the play in conjunction with the New England Youth Theater Group, and it was made possible by the generous support of an anonymous donor.
We’re told the kids had just 7 days to learn their lines and about 30 songs.
Gifft Hill School could use more support for things like this. Send an email to Beth Jones if you’re interested in offering a little help.

I saw the play and it was frickin’ hilarious! I bet if everyone who reads this blog sent the school their walkin’ around money from just one day it would help alot! Thanks for the post, its good to hear about real things that happen here on St.John!

Great job!
To think these children learned lines, lyrics and staging in such a short time. Very impressive. They also looked like they were having terrific fun!! I know the audience did.
Thanks to all those involved in bringing “Uncle Steve” and his talented group (wife too)to St. John.
We think it was worth the trip.
